A person is eligible to be an AJA Retired Member if he/she has retired from corrections or from employment with any organization that provides services to the field of corrections. This membership category helps keep members current on new developments in the field.

Life Members recognize that supporting AJA's work is essential to the health and growth of their professional community. As a Life Member of AJA, you are showing your commitment to the ongoing development of the corrections profession. We offer both single payment and pro-rated options to fit your budget. Anyone qualified to be an Individual or Retiree Member is also qualified to be a Life Member.

Student
|
This special membership level is available to full-time students enrolled in a Criminal Justice Program, not currently employed in the field of corrections or working for a company providing a service to jails. Student membership can open the door to such opportunities as networking with current jail professionals and keeping up with the latest happenings in the field. Note- you must provide the following: Photo copy of your current student ID and the email address on the account must be your student email. Please submit the required information to membership@aja.org.

Agency
|
Criminal justice agencies can benefit through an Agency Membership, which offers special pricing on AJA's professional development seminars, annual conference registration for several staff. Only the primary contact person will received all member benefits. (i.e. access to the national jail blog iConnect, a copy of our bi-monthly magazine and our weekly newsletter AJAlerts.
