The Corrections Deputy position is responsible for the monitoring and supervision of inmates in the Grant County Correctional Facilities. The position is also responsible for the intake, booking, processing, housing, care and custody of inmates in the facility, and secure supervision of inmates during Grant County District and Superior Court hearings.

1. Valid Driver’s License with proof of automobile insurance
2. Background Check: Must have an acceptable background record
3. Driving Abstract: Must have an acceptable driving record
Required
1. Must be 21 years of age
2. United States citizen
3. High school diploma or GED
4. Have no record of felony convictions and/or pattern of misdemeanors
5. Pass Civil Service written, physical and oral board exams
6. Ability to satisfactorily complete the Corrections Officers Academy within 6 months of employment.
7. Pass polygraph and psychological examinations.
8. Pass pre-employment drug screening test.
9. Have no use of illegal drugs within the past 5 years.
