Position Information

This position involves administrative and supervisory responsibility for the safe, efficient and secure operation of the Sarpy County adult correctional facility including the safety and security of staff and inmates. Position requires extensive responsibility and independent judgment in the performance of job duties. Duties include, but are not limited to:   

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage modern and innovative activities and operations of the correctional facility and its program efforts.
• Establish and direct the implementation of institutional policies and procedures, goals and objectives consistent with the County’s mission, relevant federal, state and local laws, licensing requirements, and nationally recognized correctional standards.
