Wally Doerge has been with the U.S. Department of State since January 1987. She began her career in Passport Services and joined the Office of Public and Congressional Affairs in August 1990. Wally has managed the Consular Notification and Access Program since 2010. She is currently the State Department subject matter expert on consular notification and access.

Summary:
This webinar is designed for jail staff and administrators concerning aspects of consular notification and access that apply specifically to detention facilities. These include consular access by foreign government officials to their citizens, and consular notification for foreign national inmates who become seriously ill, die in detention and/or are transferred from one detention facility to another. It’ll also be an opportunity for jail personnel to ask questions and receive guidance.
