Inmate Hearings and Progressive Discipline

This seminar provides participants with an understanding of how inmate discipline should be conducted. The instructors review Federal case law and how it relates to due process in inmate disciplinary hearings. Seminar participants learn how to communicate effectively with inmates in order to reduce incidents of misbehavior and avoid becoming part of the problem. Attendees also learn to investigate allegations of misbehavior and how to conduct disciplinary hearings that protect the inmate’s due process rights.

A minimum number of participants are needed to hold our seminars. You may cancel up to five business days prior to the Professional Development Seminar. No refunds will be given for cancellations received five or less business days before the class. All cancellations are subject to a $50 service fee. Your cancellation must be received in writing via fax or e-mail. Substitutions are acceptable. "No Shows" will be charged at the applicable rate.
