Criminal Justice Student Day

Today’s students in criminal justice studies are the potential leaders of tomorrow’s jails. In recognition of these potential leaders, the American Jail Association is excited to invite criminal justice students to our fifth annual Criminal Justice Student Day on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 during our Annual Conference & Jail Expo in Louisville, Kentucky.

Criminal Justice Student Day features a complimentary, one-day pass to our conference with the following schedule:

7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.: Registration
Students are required to register in advance. Click here for the registration form.
8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: AJA President's Initiative
9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Q&A session
This is your time to ask questions and learn from active corrections experts.
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Exhibit Hall Tour
Students are invited to tour the exhibit hall and learn first-hand about the products and services in use in our jails.
12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Workshops
Students have their choice of any workshop held during this time.

This is a perfect time for you to network with learn from those across the Nation with firsthand experience in the corrections profession. Students who wish to attend more than this one-day complimentary event may register at the student rate of $95.
