Share Your Success Initiative

For our 2018 conference, AJA is introducing a way to engage participants and to share ideas, solutions, and successes from jails across the country.
We are launching a Share Your Success initiative in Sacramento to highlight the great work that jails and their staff provide throughout the year. Read below to learn more about how your facility can be a part of this initiative.
When: At AJA’s Annual Conference & Jail Expo on April 21–25, 2018 in Sacramento, California. Posters will be displayed in the Sacramento Convention Center during the conference. On Monday, April 23 from 7:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m., we are requesting that a person from your facility stay with your poster to answer questions.
Purpose: To highlight a challenge that your staff/agency met with success and from which others can learn. Every day, jails and their staff are confronted with challenges. This initiative is an opportunity to share your success with other AJA members and conference attendees. Your poster should showcase a challenge your staff successfully met with an innovative practice, a technological approach, or a new way of addressing an issue.
